EIC Service Catalogue
CategoriesEntrepreneurship EU Project Startups

Early this year, META Group expanded its offerings by joining the European Innovation Council (EIC) Catalogue, a key milestone that connects us to a network of organisations providing services, infrastructure, and expertise to over 6,000 innovations supported by the EIC. As a partner in this prestigious ecosystem, we are committed to empowering European innovators and helping them develop breakthrough technologies.

As an EIC Partner, META Group has been selected through the EIC Ecosystem Partnership Programme, launched in 2021. This initiative aims to enhance the EIC Business Acceleration Services by addressing two critical challenges: providing innovators with access to specialised, sector-specific support and helping them attract private investment.

Thanks to this collaboration, META Group services are now available throught the EIC Catalogue. It is a searchable tool available to EIC beneficiaries, allowing them to filter and access a wide range of services based on their project stage and needs. By using this resource, beneficiaries can easily identify the most suitable services and apply directly for support.

The European Innovation Council, established under Horizon Europe, is dedicated to supporting transformative innovations from early-stage research to market entry. Through its EIC Pathfinder, EIC Transition, and EIC Accelerator programmes, the EIC offers funding to initiatives at different stages of technological maturity.

META Group services in the EIC Catalogue

Our services are designed to bridge the gap from the laboratory to the market, offering tailored support to research teams at critical stages of their projects. By providing expert guidance, practical tools, and structured programmes, we help ensure that promising innovations successfully transition, and achieve impact.

Research Impact Canvas Service

Our Research Impact Canvas service offers a comprehensive one-day seminar, including preparatory activities and a follow-up report, designed to support project teams, particularly those involved in EIC Pathfinder and Transition programmes. Its goal is to optimise the structure for the exploitation and use of research outcomes, particularly focusing on adoption and technology transfer.

During the seminar, participants work closely with an expert to review and update their main research outputs, referred to as Key Exploitable Results (KERs), using a problem-solving approach. The focus is on refining the unique value proposition of each KER and assessing their potential for innovation.

Participants will also revise the model used to ensure adoption, plan next steps for utilisation, and identify key early adopters and stakeholders within the exploitation value chain. The tools utilised during the seminar, which have been validated through thousands of research projects, are essential in defining a fact-based Unique Value Proposition and preparing a strategic roadmap for the uptake of research results beyond the project’s life cycle.

Research Accelerator Service

Our Research Accelerator service is a five-week programme tailored for EIC Transition beneficiaries, combining in-person and remote coaching to transform research outputs into market-ready innovations. This programme focuses on the commercialisation process and market entry strategies, ensuring that participants are equipped to move from research to market adoption.

The programme is divided into three key phases:

  • Business Strategy Development: During this initial phase, participants learn to create effective commercialisation and exploitation strategies, and how to pitch to investors.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: The second phase centres on the Lean Startup methodology, incorporating tools such as the Lean Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas, and Exploitation Roadmap.
  • Investor Readiness: The final phase focuses on improving market fit and enhancing pitching skills, preparing participants to confidently engage with investors and strategic partners. By the end of this phase, participants will have refined their innovation pitch and strengthened their readiness for market entry.

At META Group, we believe that innovation is the key to shaping a better future. By joining the EIC Catalogue and partnering with the European Innovation Council, we are proud to be at the forefront of empowering researchers and innovators to bring their groundbreaking ideas to life.
