Introduction
These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the participation in a training course (“Course”) organised by META Group and Liviantoni Consulting (“Providers”). By registering and attending the Course, you (“Participant”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Provider reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. The most current version of the Terms will be made available on the Provider’s website.
Registration
To participate in the Course, the Participant must complete the registration process by providing accurate and up-to-date information, and to process the pre-payment.
The Participant acknowledges that the registration is subject to availability, and the Provider reserves the right to refuse or cancel any registration without providing a reason.
Payment
The Participant agrees to pay the Course fees as specified by the Provider in the training course registration page published on this web page
The fees are due upon registration (30% within 48 hours from the date of registration) and must be paid in full before the Course commencement date.
The Participant is responsible for any additional costs incurred during the Course, such as travel, accommodation, and meals, unless explicitly stated otherwise by the Provider.
Cancellation and Refunds
The Participant may cancel their registration by notifying the Provider in writing exclusively by email to the email address trainings@meta-group.com.
The following cancellation fees apply:
- 0 €, up to 30 days before the commencement date.
- 50% of the registration fee, up to 14 days before the commencement date.
- 100% of the registration fee, less than 14 days before the commencement date.
The Provider reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Course due to:
- Lack of sufficient minimum number of participants 3 weeks before the commencement date.
- Other unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, the Participant will be offered an alternative Course date, or a full refund of the fees paid.
Participant Responsibilities
The Participant is responsible for attending the Course in person at the specified location and on the designated dates and times.
The Participant agrees to conduct themselves in a professional manner throughout the Course, respecting the rules and instructions provided by the Provider and any trainers or staff involved.
The Participant shall not engage in any disruptive, harmful, or illegal activities during the Course that may cause harm to others or damage the Provider’s property.
Intellectual Property
All course materials, including but not limited to presentations, handouts, and training resources, provided by the Provider are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
The Participant acknowledges that any unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of the course materials is strictly prohibited without the express written permission of the Provider.
The participant agrees that photos, audio and videos may be taken by the organisers for promotional reasons. Should a participant wish to deny the permission to his/her image taken during the course, he/she should inform in writing the organisers before the beginning of the training, otherwise his/her consent is considered granted in accordance with the acceptance of the present Terms and Conditions.
Limitation of Liability
The Provider shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred by the Participant or any third party during the Course.
The Participant agrees to indemnify and hold the Provider harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising out of their participation in the Course.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Course shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Participant and the Provider, superseding any prior agreements, understandings, or representations, whether written or oral, relating to the Course.
By participating in the Course, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
