META joins EoCoe as exploitation partner

24/03/2020

As an impact service provider, META will take care of supporting the exploitation activities, developing the intervention strategy to exploit the project’s mature results

META has signed a contract with ENEA to support exploitation activities under the EoCoe project.

Both organizations had already a positive experience of collaboration in the past, as ENEA has benefitted from several SSERR seminars delivered by META, and also had requested its intervention in the pilot event in 2018.

At the cross-road of the energy and digital revolutions, EoCoE develops and applies cutting-edge computational methods in its mission to accelerate the transition to the production, storage and management of clean, decarbonized energy. EoCoE is guided by four high-level objectives:

  • Enabling the transformational Energy Science breakthroughs in 5 key low-carbon sectors: Wind, Meteorology, Materials, Water and Fusion;
  • Designing and developing of the cutting-edge computational methods and production-of ready High-Performance computing (HPC) software;
  • Promoting high-end exascale tools, a co-design software development approach;
  • Building a sustainable European infrastructure and taking sustainable benefits from the use of numerical tools.

META, as an impact service provider, will take care of supporting the exploitation activities, developing the intervention strategy to exploit the project's mature results.
